June 2013 Haul

June 2013 Haul
I know it's already August, but please bear with me. I've been really busy lately, hence, the lack of posts. So! Now, I'm going to share with you the things that I've acquired last June. Some of them were gifts from friends and others I have purchased, of course.

Here's the list:
  1. Primadonna Gladiator Sandals — By far the best gladiator sandals that I have ever owned! It's so chic that I can easily pair it with a Sunday dress or even with a smart casual outfit. Plus, I bought it at a very reasonable price!
  2. Nichido 24 Hr Tattoo Effect Eyeliner Pen — Two days before I left Philippines, I asked my mom to help me buy a really nice black eyeliner because I know it will be a bit pricey if I buy it here. So this was sort of an impulsive purchase, but hey, I was not disappointed! My mom's not really knowledgeable in this area and she doesn't wear much make-up, but surprisingly she had picked a good item! Haha! The eyeliner pen is so easy to use, it glides easily and it's waterproof!
  3. I Love Boracay Shirt — My friend went to Boracay and I asked him to buy a tank top for my pasalubong. Unfortunately, he doesn't know the difference between a tank top and a shirt! Lol. But it's okay, it's the thought that counts! ;)
  4.  Flexwear Contact Lens — I had to buy a new set of contact lens because my previous set is going to expire soon. I was surprised when I have learned that my grade went up from 100 to 150 for my right eye and from 75 to 150 for my left eye, in just a span of 4 months! Gah. Anyway, I chose hazel color this time for a change.
  5. Aid-de-camp Nourishing Cream Bar, Beprosalic Ointment and Fix Derma Epifager Forte Whitening Cream — These were prescribed by my dermatologist for my skin asthma. I still haven't used the nourishing cream bar, so I cannot provide any feedback yet. As for the ointment, I use this almost every day on my body parts that I feel are prone to rashes, prevention is better than cure! Lastly, I use epifager forte to lighten the marks/scars that I got from my rashes.
  6. Usana Chelated Mineral Tablet and Mega Antioxidant Tablet — When I went back to Philippines last May, for some reason, I didn't had the appetite to eat. So, my mom asked me to try my dad's vitamins which they have ordered from my Aunt's friend. They noticed that the vitamins did helped me improve my eating habits. For them to make sure that I'm eating properly here, they bought me two bottles that I can bring here! Sweet, right?! Hehe
  7.  Revlon Beyond Natural 2-Way Foundation and Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick — If you know me well, you'll know that I am a fan of Revlon make-up ever since I started working. When it comes to foundation, I always buy different types (usually my purchases were easily influenced by the sales clerk. Lol) for me to try. Yes, I am still in search of my perfect natural and long-lasting foundation. For the liquid lipstick, it was love at first sight! I got totally hooked with it when I have tried it. My first ever shade was Tomato, but now that I am trying to be 'natural' looking, I bought the Premium Pink shade instead. It's really long-lasting, to the point that sometimes I don't even need to retouch (even after eating). Great buys indeed!
  8.  Jockey Sports Bra — Since I have included 'be physically fit and get a killer abs' on my 30 before going 30 list, I figured that one way to motivate myself is to buy suitable clothes for my exercise sessions. Lol! Though I think I only have used these for three or four times? HAHA! I think I will need more than that for an effective motivation! Lol.
  9. Folded and Hung Satin Button-down Sleeveless Blouse — My sweet dad bought this for me (and another shirt for my sister too) when we went out malling. Royal blue is now my favorite color! It makes me look a bit fair eh. Haha
  10. NYC Smooch Proof Lipstain 16H, Eyeshadow and Lipstick — These are gifts from US, there's still another shade of lipstick but I gave it to my mom since it suits her pretty well. I think I made it clear to these people that I love make-up, even without actually telling them. Lol. I love everything, especially the lipstain! I am more of a liptint/lipstain kind of girl rather than just the lipstick. I prefer long-lasting make-up because I am too lazy to retouch. HAHA
